Elaster RAF BT (PMB 45/80-75) bitumen is a high performance polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It is suitable for high performance asphalt mixes as anti-crack systems, high void content Porous Asphalt, high shear and rutting-proof mixes, SMA (no fibers needed) and AUTL mixes. Its minimum softening point is 75 ºC, its cohesion is extremely high and it is storage stable.This bitumen is formulated for the fabrication of Warm Asphalt mixes. It also enables increasing time/distance from the asphalt plant to the works site.
Meets the specifications of Article 212 of the General Technical Specifications Sheet for Road and Bridge Works (PG-3) and those contained in the UNE EN 14023 standard for PMB 45/80 –75.
