Low temperature bitumens

Asphalt Bitumen BT bitumen is an asphalt binder designed for warm mix fabrication. It includes waxes for viscosity reduction at high temperatures in order to reduce fabrication temperatures as well as energy comsumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Asphalt Bitumen 35/50 BT bitumen is an asphalt binder that complies with EN 12591 specification formulated for the fabrication of warm mix asphalt. It is suitable for a variety of asphalt mixes, providing the cohesion and stifness required for durable pavements, while reducing production temperature, energy comsumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Asphalt Bitumen 50/70 BT Bitumen is an asphalt binder that complies with to EN 12591 specification formulated for the fabrication of warm mix asphalt. It is suitable for a variety of asphalt mixes, providing the cohesion and stifness requiredfr durable pavements, while reducing production temperature, energy comsumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Elaster BM-3c BT (PMB 45/80-65) bitumen is a low-temperature polymer modified binder obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers which complies with EN 14023 specification and formulated to make warm asphalt mixes. It enables increasing time/distance from the asphalt plant to the works site. It has a minimum softening point of 65 ºC, high cohesion and it is storage stable. It is recommended for all kind of asphalt mixes, specially for open graded mixes as BBTM and SMA used for heavy duty roads.

Elaster RAF BT (PMB 45/80-75) bitumen is a high performance polymer modified bitumen obtained by chemical crosslinking with elastomeric polymers that complies with EN 14023 specification. It is suitable for high performance asphalt mixes as anti-crack systems, high void content Porous Asphalt, high shear and rutting-proof mixes, SMA (no fibers needed) and AUTL mixes. Its minimum softening point is 75 ºC, its cohesion is extremely high and it is storage stable.This bitumen is formulated for the fabrication of Warm Asphalt mixes. It also enables increasing time/distance from the asphalt plant to the works site.
