Microsurfacing

Bituminous slurries for use in surfacing such as to seal pavements and/or improve surface texture, are mixes manufactured at room temperature with a bituminous emulsion, aggregates, water and, where appropriate, mineral filler powder and additives, the consistency of which is suitable for use on site and can be applied in one or more coats. When hardened, they increase their cohesion and hardness, providing a surface resistant to the action of traffic and a high texture, which makes them very suitable for weatherproofing and treating aged pavements or achieving a surface layer with high resistance to slipping. Excellent work unit for road maintenance and conservation operations. CEPSA's MICRO emulsions are specially designed to provide great cohesion and workability to this type of mixtures.

The emulsions recommended for this application comply with the specifications of the General Technical Specifications for Road Works and Bridges (PG-3) and those contained in the UNE EN 13808 standard (except anionic specifications).
